RDNA Tech: Checked. Biochemistry: Checked. All 4 UTs: Checked.
Now that all that are over, there are new things on the checklist. First on the list (which now seems like a priority more than anything else), the PP assignment. The PP folder on my desktop has not been opened since the submission of my project scope. The whole project has been stagnant since 13 May 2009. So stagnant that if it were a pool of water, it would have breed aedes mosquitoes and I would have had dengue fever and died form it. Or too stagnant that if it were a heart beat rate, I would have died. Either way, I’m dead because it’s a die-die situation.
Mental Note:So as of today(yeah right), PP has to be done.

Forget About It: CHECKED. Another LBD book, satisfied.
A funny and original novel about how to really get away from it all!
You know life can’t be going that well when getting hit by a car is the best thing that happens to you all week. But although not generally considered to be a Good Thing, for Jordan Landeua, desperate to escape her nightmare family, her dead-end job, and most of all her lying, cheating boyfriend, it’s the perfect opportunity to start over. Coming to in hospital after the accident she decides to fake amnesia and reinvent herself. It’s goodbye to Jordan the pushover and hello to the life she’s always dreamed of. But then the unthinkable happens and she has to start over for real. Now Jordan must decide what (and who) honestly makes her happy and figure out how best to live a truly memorable life...
**************
I know it’s a tad bit early to talk about Hari Raya, but since I have not gotten my outfit and shoes yet and plus the packed schedule and PP thangg going on, time does not seem to permit. And it is a big deal to me about not having any NEW baju kurung to wear YET because people around me have decided on what colour they want- worst, some have bought/have it made already. I think I am going for black this year- a lil too funeral-ish but me is like. But I will (of course I will) insert Shopping Time in between the days/weeks. Am still considering whether or not to get new shoes- shall see what’s in store when I make my way to Charles and Keith.
***********
As for Jordan Landeua (the character in the LBD book above), getting hit by a car was the best thing that happened to her all week. And as for me, the best thing that happened this week was (no, not getting rid of UTs from the checklist) but breaking fast with this lovely bunch at Pizza Hut on Tuesday. Didi managed to join us on that day and we have truckload of fun laughing out loud at our own stupidity and Seri’s hysterical blondness.
Here’s it goes. We wanted to order the warm chocolate cake and so we called waitress (this is the first one). Sadly, there wasn’t any available at that time but we were still not convinced that the chocolate cake has run out. This was probably due to the fact that we thought the waitress was too cheeena to understand our question. Then few moments later, we decided to ask again- this time to another waitress and this time Seri did the asking.
Seri: Is the warm chocolate cake still warm chocolate cake? Waitress: Err. No. No more. (Insert the confused face due to the ridiculous question)
P/S: Seri dear, it’s “Is the warm chocolate cake still available” not like the one you asked. Heehhee. And you have officially taken over the role of ambassador of “Blond Pizza Hut Moment” with this incident. I have stepped down from being the first ambassador ever since I’ve stopped counting while taking pictures of food. That’s my blond moment at Pizza Hut- counting 1,2,3’s while taking a picture of food. Yes food. The food ain’t posing so there is no need for me to count. Remember that Nad. Geez.
And girls, let make a date for our shopping adventure! Love Love.
Psst, did you reliase you have wasted at least 3 minutes of your life reading this?

As I do not have any test to sit for tomorrow, I took a chill pill and watched an hour of Singapore Idol. Today they performed in groups and when a particular team member did not make it to the next round, the whole team tear- like someone just died. It’s funny and fake (totally) how the “We will miss you” tears came out- knowing that the group they had was just formed and they had only 24 hours to practice. Practice, not bond. Furthermore, it’s an individual game after all. This (in my opinion) fake scenario not only happens in Caldecott Hill. I (or rather we) have seen it in school. No tears this time but definitely some fake thing going on. When people pass by acquaintances/not so close classmates/people you hang out with once etc) you give the “Hiiiiiii…..*insert plastic smile*” Like you really care if they acknowledge you back. No.
I was reading one LBD book and came across this paragraph.
“ The bonds that people form with their college friends strike me as similar to those they share with their camp friends- profound, enduring, and strengthened by the inside jokes, shared histories and secret handshakes. I never went to sleep away camp and always felt I missed out on the kinship that goes along with it. This set off a sort of social-misfit chain reaction for me-when I went off to college, I opted out of the whole sorority scene. Maybe all those happy campers understood that, by throwing themselves into some type of forced social activity, they’d be able to garner those everlasting bonds that they set you up with lifelong friends whom you can get together annually and rehash the glory days. I just didn’t get it. It wasn’t that I swore not wanting to belong to any club that would have me as a member. I simply never found a specific club that I could bring myself to be passionate about. I was having trouble finding one person to be passionate about, let alone a whole club."
It hit me like a big yellow school bus and realize that I could really relate to this.
The secret handshake : Vicnes would go around in class and say “Hey, punch my knuckles” and I would say “Why?” and he goes “Just punch” and I went “Okay” and we punched knuckles. It;s not a secret coz he does it almost everyone in class. A simple gesture by a classmate that proves at least someone knows your existence in class and thus, not a class outcast.
Social misfit: Seen one in W56F. Not a very nice thing to do but still it cracks me up.
By throwing themselves into some type of forced social activity, they’d be able to garner those everlasting bonds that they set you up with lifelong friends whom you can get together annually (correction, almost daily) and rehash the glory days: We’ve got the S.I.A thangggg going on-STILL. <3
Never found a specific club that I could bring myself to be passionate about: So not true for myself because hell yeah, I totally the club. Despite the fact that we have a few names for our ‘specific club’- S.I.A, The –licious Gang etc.
Did I mention I adore every single one of you in the club?

15 weeks ago, when I first step into the class I was greeted by these friendly faces.
They got even friendlier when I told them I just had a very very bad first day of Year 2.
(Shall save myself from the memory of going to the wrong class and all)
I swear, deep in my heart, they must be thinking I'm am the most ridiculous girl.
But then it got better as the days passed.
Because there is someone else in the class who happens to me more ridiculous than myself.
He was a joke.
There were laughters and pranks.
They made me laugh.
It's great knowing I am surrounded with such fun people.
But then 15 weeks later, it ends.
I'm not really sure how our bond will be months from now.
Hopefully it does not end up with "Hi's and Bye's" when we pass each other.
And when new classmates ask who they are, you answer.."Oh, EX CLASSMATE"
Not a friend, but just a ex classmate.
Then it will be a new ballgame the next semester.
New class, New classmates.
"Going down/lunch with us?"
"Nah, you guys go ahead. I'm heading down with my friends"
*******
Shit.
I'm supposed to be at least revising for Microbiology, but here I am- typing and yawning away (which is why I don't really make sense with the above paragraphs)
Ok bye.
Me wishing me good luck.
Me wishing you good luck.

It's like the two ends of the Fun-Meter.
Exactly one week ago, I was swimming with the fishes and having such a awesome time.
One week later-today, I am having one of the dreadful Sundays whereby I know I need to study but nothing comes out of it.
It's like the two ends of the Fun Meter, indeed.
That is one of the biggest star fish I've ever seen.
Moving on...
I was distracted from doing work the whole day.
And as I am typing this, my brother's new PS 3 race game is blasting over the stereo.
And I have yet to try it out.
And then it's the time of the month whereby I am just too lazy to do anything but yet have the tendency to crave for chocolates.
Tell me, how to study like this?

UP: Checked.
Was deciding between G.I Joe and Up, but in the end this was the choice.
It's out of this world how a house can float up in the air- just like our signature 'kening go up up and away' emoticon on MSN which are used oh-so-often.
But then, if there is a will, there is a way.
If the old man is looking for an adventure, he needs to find a way.
If we are bored to hell in class, we need to find a way.
If he ties ballons his house, we partial for the day.
If he goes to Paradise Falls, we go to Cathay.
If he has the little boy scout, the exotic bird and a talking dog for company, we have siterhood.
I teared in the movie- twice in fact.
It must be the hormonal imbalance and touching scenes.
You managed to get Yaya out of the class at 1.49 pm.
You deserve a pat on the shoulder.

Orphan: Checked.
Now I have one less thing to do. But then again, the list seems never ending with upcoming UTs, The Proposal, the fasting month, the holidays, yet to be done PP. If only there was more time. Moving onnnnn....
First impression of Ester, downright angelic and a godsent but then this angel's halo is oh-so-twisted. There was a few shocking scenes to the extent that our heads knocked each other when I jerked to the right and Nisa jerked to the left. And in between the thrilling scenes, the girl if front of us let out a cute puppy-like sneeze that made the three of us burst into laughter.
Don't you find people with very fair complexion with dark hair look ghastly? (Think Megan Fox without all the thick make up) I'm totally kidding about the Megan Fox part, But really pale skin and dark hair? Oh, another example- Alice Cullen or Edward Scissorhands?!
P/S: Charles and Keith Sale. And I just got myself a bag on impulse. Shit.

Quick Getaway When Singapore Turned 44: CHECKED.
I'm back and I'm at least three tones darker.
What a bummer, but at least I did enjoy myself.
The 13 hours journey from Singapore to Terangganu's town centre and then another one hour and a half of ferry ride to Redang Island was no doubt, arduous. However, it was all worth it.
Swimming pool, soft sandy beach with clear water, food, food and more food. You get the flow. Can't get much shopping done because afterall, it is a resort- not some kind of shopping paradise. Unless you want to buy fish/prawn/sotong crackers at the town centre.
Let me get to the fun part. The fun part comes in a form of a sea activity which I tried for the first time- Snokerling.
Speedboat ride was amazing, it was such asn adrenaline rush. The wind in your hair and the sun in your eyes (well, not exactly coz I have my shades on) The ride was extremely fast (you don't call it a speed boat if it's slow right, duhh) and a lil bumpy due to the strong current to the extent that my mum held on to an Italian man's leg throughout the journey. Hell yeah, she was tramatized and no, she and my aunt did not snorkel.
So yeah, the snokerling trip consist of five stops over a period of 5 hours- some of which you are able to swim in the same coast as baby sharkes, tortoise, different kind of marine creatures etc.
The water was so clear that you do not have to snorkel to see what lies underneath it. That's just on the surface, underneath it is a whole new world altogether.
Oh boy, the first time I get off the boat and got into the water, I seriously thought at one point in time, I was going to die. It was a case of "What If's". What if I can't breath properly? What if my leg got cramped? But alhamdullilah, everything was alright and I am still alive- typing this even. At the first stop, I was actually holding on to my brother's hand, to afraid that if I let go, I might drown. But then after which, I was quite confident on my own.
Having fishes of different colours and size swimming with you and sharing your personal space in the water was nerve wrecking. What if they go into your top? What if they bite your leg?
Gosh!
That's me, with the peace sign in the second picture.LOL!
First and second picture above is a sea cucumber.
Believe it or not, there is a pink sea cucumber.
I've seen it.
3rd and 4th picture: A shipwreck from yesteryears.
The remains of the ship became a home for beautiful corals, aquatic plants and marine life.
Oh how I wish at that point of time, I had a waterproof camera.
Damn!
The guy who was operating the boat was kind enough to guide me through the whole trip. I held onto his hands tightly for at least three of the five stops and he took me way ahead of the others, a place with a breathtaking underwater view. I saw eels, squid, Nemo and Dory (clown fish and idk what species of fish Dory is) and lots of other creatures. I think that was the first time in my life I trusted my life to a 22 year old man because after all, he knows his thing and he knows where the good deal is. We even made a pit stop at the jetty to feed fishes with bread but I think they enjoyed my skin more than they enjoy the bread. I have fish bites on my leg now for goodness sake. So not a fish spa I thought it would be. Truth to be told, I did feel ala Ariel from the Little Mermaid. *sings..Under the Sea*
Redang and Snorkeling= Been there, Done that, Seen all.
Satisfaction guranteed. *************

I've been spending three consecutive Wednesdays shopping, shopping, shopping.
"The day that Upper East Siders have been waiting for has finally arrived: Hilary Duff has reported to the set to begin shooting her role on "Gossip Girl"! You'll recall that when Season 2 ended, it was graduation time and most of the show's main characters were headed off to college. That's where Duff comes in. The actress/singer plays Olivia Burke, a famous movie star (what a stretch) who attends New York University in hopes of enjoying a traditional college experience."
It's not clear yet exactly what's going to happen, but you can be sure there's gonna be plenty of drama worth texting to Gossip Girl!

Now that we have tried cakes from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Famous Amos and Bengawan Solo- it's time for a change. And the change comes in a form of a beaa-youu-tii-full cake from Bakerzin. It's called Desire and apart from its preety flowers adorned on top of the cake, this is simply delicious. So soft. So chocolatey. So sweet.
And this is a picture of what it looks like originally-from the website.
Preety!
And that's what it looked like after racing from One Stop Centre to W25B to One Stop Centre again! Not only the flower decorations (which were made of white and dark chocolate btw) fall off, the cake eventually got a lil tipsy due to all the running we had just so that we made it on time. And cake drama didn't end there. The 50 cents lighter which we bought earlier weren't of any help- at first! But then it was okay thanks to experimental techniques of brudder in law.
Awww. The birthday girl.
Hope you like our surprise for you.
So much of "Wait for us till end of the day" when me and Nisa did not made it to w56F and E25? respectively on that fateful Monday morning.
The rest couldn't join us due to unforseen circumstances but this dear girl of mine made it to a video call with the birthday girl. Since she is sick and went partial, Seri had a video call with us- so that we are all in this together. But girl, you did miss alot of fun. Should I mention that you didn't get the chance to eat the cake and I bet you are effed up jealous now?
Sean to Nad: Should we cake her now?
Nad to Nisa: Should we cake her now?
Nisa: Can I guess. Use Sean's cake.
All this was did with the joy of having technology at our expense.
And...GO!!
Creamy cake on a face.
Not a perfect combination, yes?
Picture 3 and 4 are PICTURES OF THE DAY.
Surprise Surprise Time.
We got her "Breaking Dawn" just so that she now has all 4 books complete.
What can you say, Yaya is Vampire Fan.
Side track:Personally, I'm in Team Edward.
And as for now, all the goofy peektures!
In an attempt to do take "Hair Flip" picture.
And since Yaya had her hair rebonded a few weeks ago, thats why her's is freakily striaght to the right and left. Mine and Nisa, all over the place. And brudeer in law said I look like Smurf in the last picture with hair like that. Thankksss ahhh Seann!
Seri, please slap brudder in law!
Jumpshots!
And the best jumper goes to Sean Tall!
Oh, it jsut so happened that we were all in black.
Coincidence much yeah.
And this is another sungguh tak perlu face made my brudder in law.
That's what happened when you press your face against a glass panel.
Please don't try this at home.
Hey Sean, now who looks more like Smurf??!??!?!
The card comes in a form of a frame.
Simple yet chic.
:)
And since we didn't prepare the card on Monday for the celebration, we had to do it today.
So during break time today, me and Nisa made our way to E45B and had our faces infront of the door with the frame in hand. Ahhaa. So funny!!
