Weekends were very insightful. Some issues arised and it sets me thinking. Well, at least it it challenges my cognitive process. Apart from that, having to see some of God's creation whom I love was enough to make my day. These are just some of the less retarded pictures we took.
Speaking of insightful issues, here are some :
1) Even my 3 year old cousin who is in kindergarten do not have to go to school on Youth Day! Can you believe that? What the hell is wrong with the MOE's system? Children's Day not enough isit? I mean, here I am dragging myself to school on a Monday morning on Youth Day (supposed to be for secondary/poly/jc). So not fair!! Actually, I secretly miss celebrating Children's Day. I still remeber vividly the time in primary school whereby most teachers would give us presents, lots of them. Tidbits, chocolates and stationeries.
Well, today Zeff rewarded us with M&Ms becuase it was Youth Day and it was his first year anniversary with his girlfriend. Thus, the mood to be Mr Nice Guy.
2) Malaysia's politics are getting spicy,juicy and hot? It's Deputy Prime Minister was linked to the murder of that model back in 2006 or something. Omg, LINKED, not INVOLVED. I was cathcing up with the news and the headlines made were very interesting. I am so looking forward to it's verdict. I am so gonna laugh my ass off if Najip Tun Razak is involved lah. Seriously, what is happening to some men??!!! I shall not say so much about this issue because I do not read the newspapers on a daily basis(expect for LIFE) and I am not so smart when it comes to foreign politics. Why can't they cultivate the habit of giving politically correct answers just like E35C so that everyone will be happy and contented??
3) Oil prices are soaring everywhere!! Why is there a need to protest like we did in Asia??! Channel News Asia covered reports of demostration against high oil prices in Malaysia, and I found it over the top. Cummon' having a protest will not make the situation better. Come to think of it, at least Malaysia doesnt have 7% GST and ERP gantries practically everywhere!! So, for the sake of world peace, please stop all this nonsense.
But then again, what do I know about politics. I'd rather keep my mouth shut and study for my Science UT!!!!
